Expansion and Renovation

When we originally started in 2000, the standard for Alzheimer’s Assisted Living Homes was based upon control, security, and safety. Today, such care has evolved to include aspects of design and technology that strive to preserve the abilities, for as long as possible, of persons with Alzheimer’s disease and the aging population in general.

Keeping with our mission of providing a high-quality life for our residents, The Bridges is updating its existing building by remodeling the public areas into activity rooms, separate tv rooms and new furniture. The expansion will include 21 private rooms, social gathering areas, and a chapel.

We have renovated our Memory Care wings to provide new Activity Rooms for different levels of needs and new Dining Areas.

Signature Programs

Signature Programs at The Bridges include our Circle of Joy, Art Workshops and Alzheimer’s Support Group

The Circle of Joy is a drum circle that gathers residents together using drums to create friendships and companionship. The Drum Circle meets twice a month.

Visual Arts are classes where residents paint to express their own creativity. The classes are also twice a month.

Every week there is a special program offered only at The Bridges.

Alzheimer’s Support Group

Caregiving doesn’t just mean taking care of someone suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. It is important that you remember to take care of yourself too. It is normal to feel overwhelmed at times by all of the added responsibilities of being a caregiver. This can take a significant toll on your physical and emotional wellbeing. That’s why you need to attend a SUPPORT GROUP. Educating yourself on Alzheimer’s can help you feel more confident and empowered when caring for your loved one.
