Aloha
I really enjoy living at The Bridges thanks to the wonderful staff and their great care. Both the staff and residents are very respectful and easy to get along. I love relaxing, interacting and participating in the daily activities they provide for us. One of my favorite activities is the circle of joy. The Bridges at Mission is a beautiful place, and the food is great!

The Bridges At Mission is a great place where I can leave my father during the day while my mom and I do our daily activities. I am extremely comfortable leaving him here because I know they have a wonderful and caring staff. My father loves it here, he tells me he enjoys the company of the other residents and the care of the staff a lot. His favorite activities are bingo and eating the delicious food they serve here.

I’m delighted to be able to live at The Bridges at Mission. I’ve been fortunate to have been able to enjoy this lovely place for two and a half years. What I enjoy most is singing, and I’m delighted we get to do so in the activities the staff prepares for us. Everyone in this place is beautiful, and loving people that take great care of me. I’m very grateful with God for having put this place in my path so I can live peacefully.

I’ve had the opportunity to enjoy living at The Bridges at Mission for six wonderful months. What I like the most about this Home is the care and attention we receive from the staff. They are always willing to go the extra mile to make sure we’re comfortable and safe. I love the fact that there are so many activities to keep ourselves busy, but we get to choose if we want to take part in them, or sit back and relax. My favorite activity is Art. The teachers encourage us to paint and draw, even if we think we can’t do it right, they guide us. If you need Assisted Living, and are looking for a great place, look no further and come live with us at The Bridges!

I’ve been living at The Bridges at Mission, for over two years, and have been enjoying it ever since I settled in my own room. I enjoy every activity, every meal, and every single day. The staff takes wonderful care of each and everyone of us, they are extremely caring, and I can feel their love for all the Residents. I enjoy when we get to sing at The Circle of Joy, and when we get to draw in Art Class. I recommend this place to anyone needing assisted living, and I’m very happy to call this place home.

I’ve been living at The Bridges at Mission since February 2014, and I have enjoyed every day. I’ve always felt that the care we receive here is second to none, both when I’m healthy as well as when I’m under the weather. I really enjoy knowing there’s someone around, be it to have a nice conversation, or to get some assistance. The staff is fantastic, and treat us like we’re family! I’m at peace, and enjoying everything that goes on in this wonderful place I get to call home.

I’ve been living at The Bridges for almost four years. Even when my sons told me to go live with them after my husband passed away, I chose to stay because I’m extremely happy here. There are many activities to keep us entertained, they do our hair, our nails, we get to go to the store, and there’s always someone around. I particularly enjoy three activities which are Art, The Circle of Joy, and Bingo! The staff that works here is loving, and tender which reflects on the great care we receive. I’m extremely happy that there are places like this, and I’m elated to have the opportunity to be here.

Even though I’ve only been here for four months, I absolutely love living at The Bridges at Mission. Both the staff, and fellow residents are wonderful people that I really appreciate being with. I particularly enjoy the fact that we have the liberty to do what we feel like. If we want to go to the garden, read, or just have a conversation, there’s always someone from the staff ready to take care of us.The care and attention they provide is something I cherish. I love that they treat us like family, and they also make sure that each day is packed with activities, and interesting things to do such as bible study, concerts, crafts, bingo, art, and drumming classes. There are a lot of things to do here, but my overall favorite activity is art, I love it! I took classes for over 25 years, and I’m very happy I can keep doing it here. The classes are very interesting, and our instructors are lovely people.
I also enjoy when we go on outings to restaurants around town because not only do we get to enjoy the food, but I also enjoy the ride around town.

I’ve been living here at The Bridges at Mission for four wonderful months. I’ve loved every moment, the food is great, and we’re well taken care of by a wonderful staff. The home is very comfortable, and everywhere I go there’s something to enjoy. From watching my favorite TV show in the living room, to sitting in the garden listening to the water fall on the fountain. I particularly enjoy the art class, and have a great time on every Circle of Joy, where we get to hear music and sing. I recommend this home to anyone that needs Assisted Living.

I’ve been living here at The Bridges for almost 3 years. I love this place because of all the beautiful people taking care of us, and the clean facilities. What I like the most is the delicious food they prepare for us 3 times a day. I recommend this place for sure, it’s just like home. I also enjoy when we go out to a restaurant or a museum. I am grateful with God that my family found this place
for me.

I have four years in this  place; it sounds a little but its a lot. The people who are in charge here are very accommodating with us and its incredible. The food the staff serves is always delicious! This place gives me a lot of peace and all the people who are here with me have become part of my family and I love them. All the activities are very good and fun. We get to exercise, paint and sing. We also have parties and church choir. The thing that I would not change about this place, is the affection of the people who work here and those who made this place. I love it and have many friends. I enjoy every day being here and I am very grateful with my family and everyone.

Each moment here at The Bridges at Mission has been remarkable, and I always look forward to my next visit. The home’s facilities are wonderful, and the staff takes great care of us. I deeply enjoy the wonderful meals they prepare here, and all they do to keep us entertained with engaging activities. These two months I’ve been here have been memorable, and I sure hope to have the opportunity to keep coming to this wonderful place.

I’ve enjoyed every day I’ve been at The Bridges. I was fortunate enough to have a room with a view to the wonderful garden we have here. The staff here is wonderful, very kind, and professional. They make sure we’re not only well taken care of, but they also make me feel like we’re one big family. The kind staff, and fellow residents make The Bridges a place I can call my home.

We’re starting our second year here at The Bridges, and we like it a lot. There are plenty of activities to do, and the food is good. However, our favorite part is that the staff is very friendly, and professional. They take great care of us, and we don’t have to worry  about anything.

I like the way the staff takes care of my dad. They are kind, patient, and loving individuals who take great care not only of my father, but all the residents here at The Bridges, always with a smile on their face.
Ever since he got here, he is much more content. The great care that they’re providing him here is something that could never be done at home.  I can honestly say that this is the best place for him in terms of facilities, and the attention my dad receives every day. I think that the staff is always looking to do something more to make everyone feel like home, and I absolutely love that!

My favorite activity here at The Bridges is Bingo, I love the treats I get when I win! We all get to play many games but I get very lucky. I also love our beauty salon. My hair is very short and straight and our beautician does a very good job with the style I like.

One of the things I really like about The Bridges is they cater to me in making my green salad every day. The cook also makes a really delicious lemon meringue pie. I love the bible studies and church services here. And I enjoy when we have our manicures and pedicures during activities.

My mother has been a resident at the Bridges for about 4 years and I can say that I am very pleased with the care that she has received. The facility is always clean and the food is very good. Because this is an assisted living facility, the nursing care is fairly minimal but when more services are needed, the nursing staff is quick to recognize and refer her where she can get the help that she needs.

Thank you so much for taking the time to film Vandy and Mary dancing. That will be a precious video moment to watch over and over! The video was posted on Facebook and many of our friends and family have seen it and commented that it made them smile. Your staff at Bridges are very caring and loving. That is not only important to them but also for the family to know that they are being well cared for with love. Thank you again for the quality of your facility and your caring attitude.

The Bridges at Mission offers relief from the in-each-moment need for care and companionship that my husband and I had to offer to dad. The Bridges offers dad a sense of independence in his own living space and a community of peers and supportive caregivers right outside his own door. The structured way of living and attentive services for those who are frail or suffering from dementia gives new meaning to my dad’s life and new freedom for my husband and I. We all have our own lives and they intersect in a form that allows us to “care about” rather than “care for” dad. The Bridges has been an oasis in a sea of uncertainty for all of us.

It is a very difficult decision to place your dad or mom in a residential setting. When my mom and then later my dad became residents at Bridges in Mission, uncertainty and anguish filled my heart. My parents’ experiences at Bridges have been a true blessing. Bridges supports my parents’ lives and provides them with dignity and great care. Having dropped by Bridges at different times throughout the day and even at night. Gratitude for the care my parents receive at Bridges now fills my heart. Thank you Bridges’ staff.

I moved my wife, Elaine into The Bridges at Mission Assisted Living Home back in June 2014. I visit her on a daily basis and even moved from Weslaco to Mission, just to be closer to her. This is the fourth facility my wife has been in and by far, she is getting the best care here at The Bridges at Mission. The staff are very attentive and helpful to residents and family members.

Though Alzheimer´s is difficult to deal with, finding Bridges as a home for our beloved mom has eased the burden of her care. We appreciate the cleanliness of the facility and the warmth and care provided by the staff. Having mom in an environment that provides exceptional care for Alzheimer´s clients provides her with what she needs to enjoy the highest quality of life possible. At Bridges we know mom is where she needs to be.

We truly appreciate the service that all the staff give us here at The Bridges. We are very grateful for everything. We love the food, the activities, the exercises and all of the outing they take us on. Another thing that is very important to me is when my husband gets sick and it’s an emergency, they take us to the hospital very quickly.

Relocating your parents and placing them in the hands of others is not an easy thing for anyone to do. My brother and sisters found ourselves in that situation this summer. After a lot of prayer and searching for the right place we chose The Bridges at Mission. We felt that they could best meet the needs of our elderly parents. Although it has not been an easy transition for them, our parents are in a place that has shown genuine kindness as well as meeting their everyday needs. My husband and I live in Florida so I am in contact by phone on a regular basis and I am always treated with the same caring and kindness.
Thank you The Bridges at Mission for being there when we needed you!

The Bridges at Mission’s management promises each resident a safe, secure and caring environment. I am happy to confirm that the care delivered matches what was promised. My brother Alan Winters was a resident for five years. Alan was always treated with respect. The loving care provided by a truly professional staff far exceeded what one would expect. I would highly recommend The Bridges at Mission as a first rate assisted living home.

I wanted to take time to thank each and everyone of you for the wonderful care you have given our mother, Ethel Hensley, over the last few years. Being so far away from her, I can’t tell you how comforting it is to know that my brothers and I don’t have to worry about her. Every time we have visited, she has looked great and her surroundings have been exceptionally clean and nice – just like her home always was. Each time there is a problem, we are notified immediately and the caretakers see to it that we are kept abreast of how things are going.
We would not hesitate to recommend the Bridges to anyone looking for a wonderful place for their parents or their loved ones.

The Bridges is a clean, well-lit place where residents receive excellent care. Most importantly, the Bridges staff go way beyond providing the basics of this type of care. Mom lived there long enough to become like a family member to the staff. She was the favorite of several of them. Despite her being a very difficult, sometimes slightly violent person, she received nothing but affection and loving care from the good ladies who took care of her

I wanted to thank each of you for the care you gave to my dad, Robert. You showed such tenderness and kindness to him, not just doing a job with no feeling. You were his second family and he was happy there. I asked him that several times and he always said, “YES! I’m happy!”

I always felt he was in good hands, and I always appreciated the close communication you gave to me. It was so important since I live so far away.
May God bless each and every one of you. Continue the good work. So many depend on you.
